My work seamlessly combines digital and traditional mediums, known for its intricate details and a focus on figurative elements. I take all my lessons via Zoom Meeting. I have a background in teaching as an assistant art teacher and as a graduate teaching assistant, where I guided emerging designers in developing essential design and illustration skills using digital and traditional tools to help them excel in their careers.
As an award-winning artist and designer, I'm excited to offer instruction in both digital and traditional drawing. I'm here to assist you with any challenging subjects and help you transition between different artistic media with confidence.
To kick things off, I'd like to schedule our first lesson as a free session. This will allow me to get to know you better, understand your goals, and view some of your previous work, if available. It's essentially a relaxed conversation to introduce myself and tailor our future art lessons to your specific needs.
This interaction will also help me understand your learning preferences, such as:
- Your availability for homework
- Your preference for concise or in-depth explanations
- Whether you'd like to dive into theory first and then practice, or take it step by step
- Your current level of experience in art and design
- Your preference for a laid-back class or one that pushes you to excel
Please note that no-shows or last-minute cancellations without prior notice will be considered completed sessions and will be billed in full. This is because I structure my schedule based on our agreed-upon appointments.
