About Christabel

I am a medical doctor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping others learn. Throughout my education and medical training, I developed excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, all of which are essential for teaching mathematics effectively.

I want to teach because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. I understand that every student learns differently, so I strive to explain concepts in a way that is clear, engaging, and suited to their individual needs. I believe that with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement, every student can succeed in maths.

Tutoring also allows me to make a positive impact while I prepare for my UK medical licensing exams. I am committed, reliable, and dedicated to helping students not only improve their grades but also develop a lasting understanding and appreciation of mathematics.

About the lesson

My lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s individual learning needs. I begin by assessing the student’s current understanding to identify strengths and areas for improvement. I then explain concepts in a clear, step-by-step manner using real-life examples to make maths easier to understand.

I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate throughout the lesson, creating a supportive environment where they feel confident to learn from mistakes. Each session includes guided practice, independent problem-solving, and regular reviews to reinforce understanding and build confidence.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop strong mathematical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.
