About Lewis

Hello! I’m a dedicated and experienced online mathematics tutor passionate about helping students understand and enjoy math. Whether you're struggling with the basics or tackling advanced topics, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My teaching is clear, supportive, and tailored to your unique learning style. I’ve successfully worked with students from a wide range of levels—from middle school to university—and helped them not only improve their grades but also their confidence. About the lesson

As an online math tutor, my goal is to make mathematics not only understandable but also engaging and enjoyable. I use a student-centered teaching approach that adapts to each learner’s needs, ensuring they build both confidence and competence.

Teaching Method & Techniques
I focus on interactive, visual, and practical teaching. I use digital whiteboards, step-by-step problem breakdowns, and real-life applications to make concepts stick. I encourage active participation, asking questions and giving instant feedback to keep students thinking critically. Lewis, one of my students, once struggled with algebra, but through consistent support and personalized exercises, he turned his grades around and actually started enjoying math!

Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is 60 minutes and structured like this:

Quick review of previous material (10 minutes)

New topic introduction with examples (20 minutes)

Interactive practice (20 minutes)

Q&A and recap (10 minutes)
Homework is light but targeted—to reinforce understanding without overwhelm.

What Sets Me Apart
I don’t just teach math—I teach how to learn math. My lessons are relaxed but focused, and I always tailor the pace to each student.
