About Amber
I have a Bachelors in English from Bluefield State College in West Virginia. I obtained my MA: Teaching English as a Second Language from Liberty University in Virginia. I am currently enrolled at Northcentral University towards my Ed.D with a specialization in Teaching English as a Second Language. I have excelled at English in grade school and love to read. Some of my favorite books are The Five People You Meet in Heaven; To Kill a Mockingbird; the Harry Potter series; and the Sword of Truth series. I also enjoy playing games, baking, and watching television and movies.

I use various techniques to encourage students to talk and participate while working towards specific goals. Lessons are catered to all skill levels and needs. A lesson will include focus on vocabulary words, reading for comprehension and fluency, and then writing and oral participation with a chance to ask questions during and after the lesson.
