About Kristen

I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with a PhD in Organic Chemistry, offering expert-level knowledge and a deep understanding of how to make complex subjects accessible. My approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and adaptability, ensuring that every student, from high school to university level, feels supported and empowered in their learning journey. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I take the time to tailor each lesson to meet your unique needs. Whether you need extra guidance or are looking to challenge yourself, I adapt my methods to make sure you truly grasp the material. With years of experience in both academic and real-world settings, I bring not only theoretical expertise but also practical, relatable examples that make learning engaging and meaningful. My lessons are structured to maximize understanding and retention, with consistent feedback and support to keep you on track. I’m committed to helping you succeed, whether that means mastering a challenging concept, preparing for exams, or simply gaining more confidence in your abilities. My goal is to ensure that you don’t just learn — you thrive, feeling confident and capable every step of the way.

About the lesson

I prioritize clarity, patience, and adaptability. My approach blends guided inquiry with step-by-step explanation, ensuring students not only know the what, but deeply understand the why. I use real-world examples, visual aids, and analogies to make abstract concepts more tangible. I also encourage active learning through questions, summarization, and problem-solving during the lesson. With students, I pay close attention to how they learn best—whether they thrive with visual guides, repetition, or hands-on practice—and tailor my support accordingly.
