I am a recent graduate of UC Davis, earning my degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Sociology. I am also currently attending UCSF/SF State's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in my pursuit to becoming a healthcare professional. With over 5 years of experience in tutoring biology, chemistry, and organic chemistry, I specialize in making complex science topics clear and accessible. In my 5 years of tutoring experience, I've learned that the best way to engage with students is to help them lead their own educational journey. Biology and chemistry are primarily concepts, and learning these topics is not as easy as just memorizing. By providing numerous practice problems and using gauging and engaging questions during sessions, I have had great success with getting students to learn the material more deeply.
While I have the most experience with high school and college level students, I am comfortable with helping folks of all ages realize their potential!
