About Mia
I am very enthusiastic about all aspects of education but especially about chemistry and maths. If a student can't understand a particular topic in either subject, I try to find a way of explaining it in a way that they will be able to understand. I am very patient and will keep re-visiting a topic at different times for as long as the student wants. Understanding leads to confidence which ultimately leads to exam success.

I will help you to achieve exam success at GCSE level, by understanding any areas that you might find challenging and then explaining them and consolidating the learning with exam style questions. A lesson length can be anything from an hour to two hours depending on the number of subjects you want help with. I have a degree in Chemistry but I would say maths is my greater passion. I have worked as a Teachers assistant in a secondary school, helping many students achieve exam success. I have also privately tutored a few students who have have gone on to achieve the grades they wanted.
