About LAKSHMI NARAYAN
My name is Lakshmi Narayan Mukhopadhyay, and I hail from the culturally rich district of Bankura in West Bengal. My academic journey began at Ramharipur Ramakrishna Mission, where I completed my Madhyamik Pariksha in 2014. I then pursued higher education at the esteemed Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, completing my Higher Secondary, Graduation, and Master’s degree in English. Driven by a passion for teaching, I later earned my B.Ed. from the Government College of Education, Burdwan in 2023. My commitment to academic excellence is reflected in my qualifications, including clearing the GATE (English) in 2023, as well as the DAV, AWES, and UGC NET examinations in 2024. Professionally, I have had the opportunity to work as a PGT English Teacher at Ryan International School, Bolpur, and earlier as a Grammar Instructor at Leaf of Education, a Bangladesh-based IELTS EdTech platform. Beyond academics and teaching, I find joy in creative expression—writing poems and stories in both English and Bengali. Several of my works have been published in literary magazines and journals, earning recognition and awards. Thank You.

The Story-Centered, Skill-Based English Method Dear Students, In my English classroom, our focus will extend beyond mere language acquisition; we will immerse ourselves in its practical application. Rather than adhering to memorization of abstract rules and completing standard textbook exercises, our methodology will be characterized by a story-centered and skill-based framework, where: Every grammar rule becomes a real-life situation. Literature becomes a conversation, not a lecture. Vocabulary will grow through games, storytelling, and creative writing, so that you don’t just remember words, but own them. Speaking and writing won’t be limited to exams but will come from real communication. And yes, we’ll use creative arts and multimedia — short films, music, comics, memes — to explore how English lives and breathes in the world around us. Crucially, I maintain that errors are simply essential steps towards achieving mastery, and the authenticity of your individual voice is of utmost importance. In this course, English will transcend being just a subject; it will evolve into a vital skill, a narrative, and a potent asset in your personal and academic endeavors.
