About Miriam

Welcome! I am an ESL tutor with over five years of experience helping college students and adults learn English. My lessons focus on practical communication skills that you can use immediately. I know learning a language can be difficult, so I create a friendly and supportive environment where you feel comfortable and motivated. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I use real-life examples and role-playing to practice speaking and listening skills. Whether it’s ordering coffee, writing emails, or having a conversation, I make sure you practice English in situations you will face outside the classroom. This approach helps you build confidence and speak more naturally. I also use innovative technology to make learning interesting. We watch short videos, listen to podcasts, and read simple stories or news articles that match your level. These tools help improve your vocabulary, listening, and understanding of English culture. I include apps and online games that make practicing grammar and vocabulary fun and easy. Motivation is very important in my lessons. I help you set clear and reachable goals so you can see your progress. This keeps you excited about learning and helps build your confidence. I adapt lessons to your needs and learning style, whether you learn best by speaking, writing, listening, or reading. In addition to ESL, I also offer help with pronunciation and writing skills. My goal is to help you communicate clearly and confidently in English for school, work, or daily life. About the lesson

My ESL teaching method centers on combining clear, structured lessons with engaging real-life practice to build strong language skills and confidence. I use real-world examples and case studies drawn from daily activities such as dining out, making appointments, or participating in meetings to help students understand how English is used naturally. This makes learning practical and enjoyable.

With more than five years of teaching experience, I focus on motivating students by setting clear goals and celebrating progress. I believe students learn best when they feel encouraged and supported, so I create a positive and flexible learning environment. I adapt lessons to fit each student’s learning style, whether they prefer visual aids, listening, speaking, or writing exercises.

Problem-solving is an important part of my approach. I help students tackle difficult grammar points or new vocabulary by breaking them into simple steps and using examples. I also encourage students to think about how to solve communication challenges, which helps them become more fluent and confident in their English skills.

Integrity is central to my teaching philosophy. I provide honest feedback and create a safe space where students can make mistakes without fear. I believe that learning a language is a process, and I am patient and supportive every step of the way.
