Joseph was really approachable in his style of tutoring and listened well.
He was very thorough in his teaching style and explained things succinctly. If I didn't understand something, he found a different way of explaining a methodology to help contextualise it in a way that helped me.
He spent time going through course work and essays with me, to help me understand which areas could be improved, why and how this could be done. He explained his marking and my grade against the grading criteria to give me a holistic view of my work.
His communication skills were excellent and he was very articulate in his teaching without over complicating things.

Joseph helped me with both my human and physical a level geography to achieve an A* in both, and I continued to have his tutoring throughout my university studies, whereby he helped me achieve a 2:1 Ba (Hons) from Durham university.
