About Shreyan Aanand
Hi, I’m Shreyan Aanand. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Business Analytics and AI at Trinity College Dublin. Before moving to Ireland, I earned my BSc in Design and Computing and built a strong career in the tech industry, most recently working as a Senior System Engineer.
Working in enterprise IT and data analytics requires a practical, everyday application of mathematics and logic. I want to bring this real-world perspective to my tutoring because I believe that building a positive, stress-free relationship with numbers at a young age sets children up for lifelong success.

My lessons are tailored specifically for primary school students (from 1st up to 5th/6th Class) who want to build confidence and have fun with Maths, Geometry, and early Algebra.
My Qualifications & Background
As a postgraduate student studying Business Analytics and AI at Trinity College Dublin, and with a professional background as a Systems Engineer, mathematics and logic are part of my daily life. I know how to take complex, intimidating concepts and break them down into simple, bite-sized steps that young minds can easily grasp.
Teaching Methodology
I don't believe in stressful rote memorization. Instead, my classes focus on visual problem-solving, relatable examples, and a lot of positive reinforcement. I aim to create a relaxed, stress-free environment where kids feel completely comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that is how true learning happens. We work at the child's pace to build a rock-solid foundation.
Lesson Structure
A typical lesson runs for 45 to 60 minutes, which is the perfect sweet spot to keep younger students focused and engaged without feeling overwhelmed. We generally split the time between reviewing current school homework, tackling new foundational concepts step-by-step, and finishing with a quick, interactive review.
