About Rafael
I've been a teacher for the last 4 years and been working with adults for the last 3. I'm the creator of Flipping It Idiomas, a school that looks for the transformation of English learning by the use of technology.
There are several studies showing that traditional learning, that thrives in individuality and ignores technology completely, isn't really effective nowadays. Here at Flipping It you'll become part of a brand new learning experience and will thrive by teamworking, critical thinking, creativity and, most of all, the smart use of technology.
Students from big companies such as Roche, Natura and iZettle are already part of this movement and they're all in this blended learning experience - and they prefer this methodology. Do as they did and become part of this movement! :D

Hey! I'm a translator as well as bachelor in Portuguese/English at FMU, in SP. I'm also a specialist in English Language by Universidade Metodista. I teach adults in company, home or video-call (hangouts, skype, etc). I've been a teacher for the last 4 years and I have a C2 proficiency degree given by The English Studio, in Ireland.
I work at Flipping It Idiomas, a school that uses a blended methodology called "Flipped Classroom" adapted to ESL students.
The Flipped Classroom model is a blended methodology ("Blended" for the use of online and face-to-face spaces!) that has been growing exponentially across the world, being used in Universities such as Harvard.
Too long, didn't read, it works like this: the lecture time is transfered to the student's home via video, so you are able to study before the weekly meeting with the teacher. Because of it, you don't "waste your time" listening and copying.
During the weekly meeting, you practice everything you've seen during the online class. During this period, you practice, create, elaborate, analyse and assess through a variety of practices created just for you. Your learning process becomes much more effective!

There are a plethora of studies showing that students who are put inside a blended environment learn much faster, more efficiently, and, above it all, prefer using this methodology.
The weekly meeting with the teacher can be either face-to-face or online, in groups or individual.
Due to our collaborative methodology, you can invite friends or co-workers - no need to be afraid! You can invite up to the 3 other people to study with you and share the montlhy fee. By doing it, the course will become less expensive and you'll be energizing even more your time with the teacher.

Apesar de jovem, o Rafael é muito interessado. Sempre busca se atualizar e é excelente profissional.
O Rafa tem um jeito singular de ensinar. Ele baseia suas aulas em assuntos diferenciados, em sua maioria mais polêmicos, mas que chamam atenção e despertam a vontade de falar, discutir, expor seu ponto de vista. O jeito que ele coordena a aula te deixa a vontade, faz o assunto fluir e quando você perceber, ainda estão conversando em inglês mesmo após o fim da aula. Um teacher amigo, que te incentiva, tenta dar as voltas que forem necessárias pra te fazer entender ou fazer você desembestar a falar, sem deixar qualquer clima desconfortável ou pesado, sem que vc se sinta pressionado. Qualquer pessoa que tenha medo (eu) ou vergonha (eu) de falar ou de errar algumas palavras (eu, de novo) é estimulada a cada aula, e esses sentimentos ruins vão se perdendo.
É o melhor teacher que alguém can have.Rafael, é profissional, pontual, gosta do que faz e é super comprometido com o resultado e o progresso de seus alunos.
