About Annabella
My goal is to inspire younger students to consider a career in musical arts. As a sixth form student who is trained in classical and contemporary music, I aim to be an aid to those struggling with the subject.
As a grade 8 vocalist and A level music student, I have experienced the struggles of GCSE music and Music theory first hand, and I would love to be able to clear the skies for students who feel as though they could benefit from additional help in such a challenging topic.
I can confidently say that music was my most difficult GCSE, and I’d love to share my knowledge with others undergoing the same experience. I can share knowledge in vocabulary, musical analysis, and strategies to help students reach those top grades!
Music theory wise, the practical side of music is what draws everyone in, and everyone seems to panic when music theory is brought into the picture. I’m here to show students that this doesn’t need to be the case. As a performer, music theory honestly feels like a break sometimes.
Good luck with exams everyone! I hope I can help!

Qualifications:
I am a grade 8 vocalist under the Trinity Classical singing syllabus. I play the piano and am currently taking A level music along with music tech and performing arts. I passed GCSE music with an 8 (one mark off a 9, yes I’m still salty) and would love to be able to help younger students get the grades they wish!
Teaching ethos:
I believe that every student is different, so lesson structure will vary for everyone! however, each session will involve in-depth explanations at whatever pace a student feels is best! As an A level music student who has experienced GCSE music along with music theory examinations throughout my childhood, I completely understand how daunting it all is and would love to be able to make lives easier by being an option for students to get extra support in such a challenging area.

Annabella is genuinely one of the most talented people that you will ever meet, not just in her musical ability but her tolerance, kindness, and patience when it comes to teaching others. Her heartwarming nature will make her the best tutor for music, and you will be sure to have a laugh while learning at a great depth. Best of both worlds!
Annabella is amazing for anyone who wishes to pursue any kind of musical gcse. She is a strong student who has achieved As and A* in her gcses so she has great experience in ways to revise and achive the grade the student wants to. I would highly recommend such a musically talented young lady
Annabella is an extremely skilled musician that teaches in a way that actually feels possible and simple. I have learnt how to sing, play guitar, and play piano from her and I keep getting better at each she is also extremely hard working and is one of the most skilled young musician I've ever known.
Annabella is a super patient and knowledgeable tutor, and has helped no end. Learning from someone close to my age, I felt a lot less pressure than in a school environment. I would recommend to someone looking to exceed in gcse music.
