About Viren
Hi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor with a Computer Science degree and a real passion for helping students feel confident in Maths. I love finding simple, fun ways to explain tricky ideas, and I always adapt my approach so each student feels supported and understood. I’m a big believer that learning should feel enjoyable—not stressful—so I bring patience, encouragement, and a positive attitude to every lesson. My goal is to help students realise that they can succeed and even have a bit of fun along the way. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me playing badminton, staying active, or going for walks. I’m committed to creating a relaxed, welcoming learning space where students feel comfortable, capable, and ready to grow.

I teach Maths in a fun, engaging, and easy-to-understand way, tailoring each session to the student’s level and learning style. My lessons focus on building confidence, mastering key skills, and making sure students actually enjoy Maths. I support both GCSE students and younger children, using clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive activities. For GCSE learners, I also cover exam techniques and targeted practice to help improve grades. A typical lesson lasts one hour, but I can adjust if needed. I have a Computer Science degree and teaching experience, which helps me explain concepts clearly and break down tricky topics into simple steps. My aim is to create supportive, motivating lessons where every student feels capable of succeeding.
