About Jakir
I’m an experienced GCSE Maths and Science tutor and first started tutoring over 6 years ago. I genuinely enjoy helping students improve their grades, build confidence, and develop a real understanding of the subjects—not just memorise answers.
My tutoring journey began after achieving A/A* grades at GCSE and excelling at A-Level in Maths and Science. I later went on to study Computer Science at the University, where I further developed my analytical and problem-solving skills. I now work as a full-time software developer, applying logic and maths daily in a fast-paced, real-world environment.
What started as a few tutoring sessions for friends and family quickly grew into a long-term passion. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of students—from those aiming for top grades to those struggling to pass—and helped them unlock their potential.
My sessions are calm, focused, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. Whether it’s solidifying foundational knowledge, breaking down complex topics, or sharpening exam technique, I adapt my teaching style to what works best for the individual.

My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, learning from them, and ultimately succeeding in GCSE Maths and Science.
