About Elodie

After a hypokhâgne preparatory class, I turned to English. I obtained an LLCE English license (Foreign Languages, Literatures and Civilizations) in 2020. I then did a gap year in London as an au pair. Indeed, I lived in two different families with children aged 5 to 12 years old. I also did babysitting for three years and ran several summer camps. I am therefore very comfortable with children and adolescents.

I am calm and patient by nature. I try to motivate my students, give them self-confidence and show them that anything is possible. I believe in my students and in their ability to succeed. Through my English lessons, I want them to feel encouraged and supported.

About the lesson

A first hour of lessons is offered. This first hour of class is organized around a discussion that will allow me to understand the pupil's shortcomings; to target its difficulties, but also its strengths. At the end of this hour of class, we will be able to establish together the objectives to be achieved. It is also important for me to understand the student's relationship with English.

I will then work on my own to create lessons, exercises and review sheets adapted to each student, according to their level, their pace and their needs.

After the hour of class, I will send (if necessary, it is not systematic) documents which the student must read before class next. These material supports can be printed or not, according to the possibilities and desires.
On the other hand, there will always be homework (relatively quick exercises to do, I don't want overwork).

These English lessons are mainly intended for children / adolescents ( primary to high school) but also to adults who wish to deepen their learning of the English language, or even start from scratch.
