About Yijun
My journey in chemistry begins when I first started learning chemistry. I still remember one day my chemistry teacher used the reaction between sulfur and oxygen gas to show us the property of oxygen gas. When she put the ignited sulfur into the bottle that was full of oxygen gas, a purple blue light was shining brightly in front of us! Another day she talked about reactions between metals, metal oxides and acids and bases. when she heated up the solution that contains copper oxide powder and sulfuric acid solution, the copper oxide powder dissolved and the solution turned blue! I was so amazed by the chemical reactions that I fell in love with chemistry. As I continue learning chemistry, I started to face great difficulties. But because I really enjoy chemistry very much, I was able to overcome them. Eventually I successfully graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. I understand that chemistry is actually a difficult major, and I am willing to try my best to help you.

I have the Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, so I am able to offer chemistry lessons to high school students and undergraduate students. I usually give lessons to students base mainly on the textbooks that I used and the lecture notes that I am still keeping.
