About Star
After being tutored by several and told I was "un-tutor-able", I found the key to what works for me. I was able to make my learning fun for myself and trick my brain into seeing learning as a game. I set goals for myself and pushed past the obstacles in my way to now have 2 Bachelor's degrees in education and have been a youth leader and tutor for over 9 years and a teacher for 2+. I know I can help you overcome your challenges and find fun in learning too!

Have you ever listened to a lecture that seemed to drone on for hours and hours? Do you think you took anything away from that other than how to sleep with your eyes open? My goal is to make learning fun and interesting because I believe you have to be engaged to take in information. It has to have a purpose, has to relate to something you are personally invested in.
