About Georgia

I hold a degree in Psychology alongside my teaching qualification, giving me a strong understanding of how students learn and develop. Before qualifying as a teacher, I worked as a teaching assistant across a range of schools, including SEN settings, which has shaped my ability to support students with diverse needs.

Alongside my studies, I was a deputy manager of two children’s homes, developing strong leadership, resilience, and communication skills. I have also been a secondary foster carer, further strengthening my patience, empathy, and ability to build positive, supportive relationships with young people. In addition, I volunteered in equine-assisted therapy, supporting children with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Outside of teaching, I have a brown belt in Shotokan karate and enjoy sailing. These interests reflect my commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm—qualities I bring into my teaching everyday.

About the lesson

I am a fully qualified English and Psychology teacher with experience across mainstream and SEND schools, as well as a background working as a teaching assistant. I have extensive experience supporting a wide range of learners and pride myself on adapting my teaching to suit each individual.

I create clear, structured resources that break down complex ideas into manageable steps, helping students to build confidence and achieve a deep understanding of their subjects—not just memorise content. I achieved A* grades in both Maths and English, and I bring that strong academic foundation into my teaching.

Alongside my classroom experience, I have successfully tutored students both privately and within school settings, supporting them to improve their grades and feel more confident in exam conditions. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential
