About Fulin

I am a fully funded PhD student in Mathematics at University College London (UCL), specialising in geometry and dynamical systems. Mathematics has been my academic focus throughout both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and I enjoy sharing this passion with my students.

I believe that success in mathematics comes from understanding ideas rather than memorising formulae. My goal is to help students develop logical thinking, confidence, and effective problem-solving skills. I adapt every lesson to the student's background, pace, and objectives, whether they are aiming for higher exam grades, preparing for university entrance examinations, or studying university-level mathematics.

I teach GCSE, A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Oxford MAT, Cambridge STEP, TMUA, and undergraduate mathematics. As an active researcher, I work with advanced mathematics every day, allowing me to explain both fundamental concepts and more challenging topics in a clear and structured way.

Lessons are available online in both English and Mandarin Chinese. I look forward to helping you achieve your mathematical goals.

About the lesson

I am a fully funded PhD student in Mathematics at University College London (UCL), offering personalised online lessons for A-Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Oxford MAT, Cambridge STEP, and undergraduate mathematics.

My teaching focuses on developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts rather than memorising formulae. I adapt each lesson to the student's goals, whether preparing for school examinations, university entrance tests, or strengthening mathematical thinking.

Lessons are typically 60 or 90 minutes and include carefully selected examples, problem-solving strategies, and detailed feedback. I also provide guidance on revision planning and exam techniques when appropriate.

I welcome students from GCSE, A-Level, Further Mathematics, university mathematics, as well as students preparing for MAT, STEP, TMUA, or applying for mathematics degrees in the UK.

As an active mathematics researcher, I combine rigorous mathematical training with patience and clear explanations. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to help them enjoy learning mathematics and become confident, independent problem solvers.
