About Evangelia
My highest degree obtained is a Masters in Educational and School Psychology (M.Ed.). I also have years of hands-on work experience as a teacher and delivering evidence-based reading interventions.
I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I have worked in private and public school settings. My goal is to empower people by applying the knowledge and skills that I have acquired throughout my education and experiences. I also have worked with children who are gifted and children with special needs.
After studying current practices in behavioral analysis (ABA), I like to stay current with research related to student behavior and motivation. Aside from personalized assistance with subject areas and assignments, I teach specific study strategies and tools that will benefit my learners throughout their lives.
I have a passion for teaching and working with people and have a strong preference for tutoring in the areas of reading and language. I love what I do.

I believe that education is an exploratory process that is not, "one size fits all." I cater my instruction to the needs of the individual and create a measurable plan for predictable rate of improvement (ROI).
In PA where I obtained my degree, the standards for education are high. I received supervised training in DIBELS testing (reading intervention) and studied subjects related to language and reading development.
I love learning and I love language. I choose to allocate a portion of my time into helping students to develop critical gateway skills related to reading, writing, receptive, and expressive speech.
I build a strong rapport with my clients. I get to know them as people to best serve their needs and I ensure measurable growth and progress for each learner.
