I have known Jamal for the last 7 years, and in that time while we have grown and in that time while he has grown and changed as a person he had never been anything less than incredibly kind and patient. I have watched him demonstrate these virtues as a friend and also a student in a variety of situations, from his time on the head teachers council to when we spent two weeks fundraising and volunteering time for a local charity called The Shed. He also helped me when we were both doing our first year of maths A-level of which is wonderous since he was learning everything at the same rate I was but was still able to understand the subject and explain it to me in a way that I found much more relatable than my teachers way of explaining it. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Jamal is a very good a level maths tutor.He explains areas that I am struggling with in pure and statistics And is a very supporting tutor.I would most definitely recommend him .

Throughout my years in Sixth Form alongside Jamal, I have formed a strong friendship with him and he has shown his numerous qualities and attributes which make him suitable for this role.

He has played a very key role in helping out from year 9 - 11 in tutoring for Maths and Science as work towards their GCSE exams. Jamal has proved he has a very understanding mindset and is incredible at de-escalating situations where the student may be becoming angry and frustrated. When one approach isn’t working with a particular student Jamal then tackles the problem from another angle until there’s one that the student understands and then learns from.

I myself have come to Jamal for help with mathematics specifically and have left him feeling much more confident in my understanding of the subject due to his help and I know many others who would agree.

Overall, Jamal has a calming demeanour which makes solving challenging problems much easier and his amazingly adaptable nature makes him the perfect candidate to tutor any student as he always has a way to get through when it seems like nothing else is clicking.

Jamal is an excellent maths tutor who has a strong ability to find alternative methods of explaining a topic in order for the student to be able to understand it. I would often go to him after maths lessons for help and I highly recommend him.

Jamal helped tutor me in Maths and was a very good teacher. He explained concepts several times in different ways to ensure that I understood it and was very good at giving me questions that made me go over my knowledge of the topic while making me consider different ways to approach the question.
