About Chris
I am a native English speaker (British English - I am originally from Yorkshire in the UK!) and I have experience of teaching to English to a wide range of students from a range of background and nationalities.
Along with my CELTA qualifications, I have a Master's degree from King's College London, and I have a wealth of professional experience in both the public and private sectors, so I can tailor my lessons to your needs.
I love to help people learn as quickly as possible, and I am always friendly.

Hello. My name is Chris, I am 30 years old and I am a fully qualified, freelance English teacher.
I offer a range of English language lesson lessons based on your needs!
These fall into two main categories.
1) Formal Lessons
These classes aim to teach formal English skills and normally they lesson are based on material I can provide from professional text books or from the British Council .
The aims of the lesson will be
• Teach a specific skill (grammar, reading, writing, listening ect.).
• Teach the students secondary skills in the process.
• Build the students’ knowledge through guided exercises.
• Provide the student with high quality, easy to understand feedback
2) Conversation/Confidence Building
This lesson would be aimed at learners who want to practice talking in English and would be based around a specific topic, which the student can choose.
The aims of the lesson are
• Build the learners confidence in speaking English with a native speaker.
• Develop the learners ability to speak in English for long periods.
• Identify repeat errors, mispronunciations or weaknesses and rectify these problems.
• Give high quality, easy to understand feedback to the learner.
