About Lauren
I've been teaching art classes since 2014. Through these classes students have learned new skills such as watercolor painting, acrylic painting, oil painting, basic drawing skills, advanced drawing skills, photography, digital painting, illustration, etc. I have had students range from elementary school to college level students. I've been able to help students of all ages better comprehend art basics such as lighting, form, composition, texture, etc. to help them get better grades in their classes. More importantly I've been able to help them improve their skills and learn to harness new mediums.

I majored with a BFA in 2 Dimensional Studies in 2013. Since then I have worked as a freelance illustrator and designer for both companies and individuals looking to have their ideas translated into a visual format.
I decided to start teaching to help others realize and reach their own potential. My art courses are tailored to fit the student's needs and are paced to best suit each student. I teach using references from art history as well as lessons based on techniques used by classical artists as well as modern ones.
