About Maxie
I'm a voracious learner who loves reading and learning looking to pass on my knowledge. I've had 4 years of tutoring for students as small as 5 years old to high school. I've been a vocational Bible school teacher for two summers and I learned how to make lessons engaging and inspiring. I love building relationships with others too!

I know I understand what it is like to struggle in a class, and I work with each student to set goals and take ownership of their own learning process.
I always strive to create an environment where learning can be looked forward to and provide lessons that last. I enjoy being able to help students figure out their weaknesses in problems and correct their learning and problem-solving style to improve their work. I spend time with students in their first session understanding their style of learning so that I can alter my teaching style to fit their needs. After that, I can work with you on homework, test preparation, and study strategies. I will make sure you have a plan to succeed in your class.
I can work with any students wanting to improve their knowledge and skills in Biology, Psychology, English, or if they just want a mentor who's been through the process.
