About Mae
I taught for 18 years before I retired. My classrooms consisted of anywhere from 26 students to 31 students. I taught all ability levels from the needs students to the gifted students. I feel that my teaching has helped many of my students to become successful when they went to high school in the science areas required for them to graduate.

I am a retired science teacher. I taught mostly 7th and 8th graders, but am certified to teach 7-12 grade. I love hands on activities. I would want my students to perform as many hands on activities at their home as possible. I too would perform the same experiments so that the students and I can gain knowledge and insight. I love all the science areas. I particular like chemistry and genetics, but feel as equally qualified to teach others science disciplines as well. I also think visual demonstrations using the computer also helps a student to learn.
