About Douglas
Twenty years experience as a Communications Studies teacher at Murdoch University Australia, MBA English and Marketing at Beijing Tsinghua and HIT Universities and Intensive English teacher in various American, Chinese and Korean international schools. Experienced teaching every level from pre-school and middle school to student teachers, business post-graduates and rocket scientists from China's space program.

There are many different ways to teach English, however, my preference is for using the Communicative approach. That means teaching through interaction, eg. teacher-student and student-student and using real texts, even using contemporary plays and films and film scripts to practice English conversation.
