About Rebecca
I am a friendly approachable tutor who will work hard to help you understand the subject you want to improve on. I have a wealth of previous experience in health and social care and in teaching social sciences. I can be passionate about what I teach and use up-to-date examples of how you can relate what is happening in the world, to the subject you are studying. I have taught at university level and at college and school level and I am used to tailoring my teaching to the level that is needed. I try to help you connect to the subject and find meaning in it which helps you understand it more and consequently helps you to retain the information you need.

Lessons would be up to an hour each week with homework allocated each week, to be handed in and gone over with you one to one, the week after it’s handed in. This gives you the student, a few ways of absorbing the learning and feedback on how you can improve. Usually the work would be based around previous exam questions to make sure you are working towards the final assessment/exam. I have years of teaching experience to be able to assist you and plenty of patience and understanding. I can break things down into smaller chunks, particularly if there is an aspect you are struggling with at school or college. We can concentrate on getting you through it. We would tailor the lessons to your needs and come up with a tutoring plan so you know what you will be doing each week.
