About Emma
Hi I'm Emma
I got an A* in Philosophy & RS and an A in Geography at A-Level, and now I teach IGCSE and A-Level students online.
I started tutoring because I genuinely enjoy these subjects and I remember how helpful it was to have someone explain things in a way that actually made sense. Philosophy and Geography can be tricky – there's a lot of content, tricky concepts, and specific exam techniques that aren't always obvious from the textbook. I want to make that part easier for you.
I teach AQA for Philosophy & RS and Edexcel for Geography, and I've built up my own materials across both boards. I tailor each lesson to what you actually need; whether that's working through content from scratch or practising essays
I'm organised, reliable, and I give honest feedback. I'll mark your work properly and tell you exactly what needs improving providing clear, useful guidance.

A* in Philosophy & RS for AQA, A in Geography for Edexcel at A-Level. I teach IGCSE and A-Level online. I've got my own materials to pull from across both exam boards.
Each lesson is interactive, we use a whiteboard and work through things together. I find it works best when we have an essay topic or question to discuss so we can really delve into critical thinking around a particular topic. We'll agree on what to cover beforehand, whether that's essay structure, past paper practice, or going over content from scratch. Lessons are 1–3 hours, depending on what you need.
I've sat these exams myself and know exactly what it takes. If you're stuck on a topic, struggling with essays or timed conditions, I can help.
