About Timothy
I studied history and anthropology at BYU and went on to get a MA at the University of Houston. I have taught AP US History, Economics, Government, World Geography, World History, and Texas History. I have also worked as a writing advisor for several years and have published some of my research on Colonial Latin America, specifically on Spanish perceptions of Indigenous foods in Colonial America. For fun I also wrote and published an article about changing perceptions of Patriotism through the medium of Captain America comic books, so if you ever want to talk politics or Marvel, I down for that too!
