For exam practice, I will recognise and focus on the core aspects needed to ensure that all linguistic skills required for the writing, reading, listening and speaking exams are covered. For example, I will focus on simple yet accurate use of all tenses with writing, or if needed, pronunciation and fluency when speaking. I will adapt to your own level of ability and push you further to ensure you are achieving your maximum potential.
My method of teaching is to work thoroughly on understanding the basic and fundamental aspects of language and building on this over short periods of time to become a more advanced language user with a developed understanding of more complex linguistic features.
I am methodical and persistent in ensuring the key elements of language are thoroughly understood and remembered in order to allow real progression to be made by the student, with consistent and repetitive practice of the basics over short time frames to ingrain understanding. I include cultural references to help students have a better understanding of how the language can be used in context.
