About Nicole
Hi! My name is Nicole and I love to mentor, teach, read, and spend time with my puppy named Meli. I've always had a love for traveling and languages and ended up studying Spanish and speaking it regularly as an adult. I live in Rockwall and love spending time on the lake, with my friends, and eating yummy food. I am no longer an elementary school teacher, but I will always be a teacher in my heart. I believe the best teachers are kind, have firm and high expectations for their students, and show up consistently for their students. Can't wait to get to know you more!

Hi! My name is Nicole and I am a former elementary school teacher! I now work for a tech company as an Onboarding Manager -basically teaching adults how to use software! As an elementary school teacher I fell in love with the kids, curriculum, planning engaging activities, and truly making learning fun (as cheesy as that sounds)!
I have found that math and reading strategies have changed so much over the past 5 years or so. I have a back pocket full of strategies, resources, games, and at home activities to help make math make sense, to help lay those foundational skills for primary readers, and to even learn a second language - Spanish!
I have one rule: work hard and always try your best. There are a lot of really smart people, but your work ethic is what matters most. I promise to work hard right alongside you, as long as you also work with me. Let's get going and start putting these new strategies into play!
