I taught 2nd grade for three years and absolutely loved it. I want to continue my teaching career in a way that offers more flexibility for myself and my students that I teach.

I am all about using engaging and interactive methods when it comes to teaching. All students learn in a different way, so whether it's incorporating reading games, hands-on activities or visual aids, I will do what works best for the student. Learning should be memorable and fun.
A typical lesson plan might include:
1. Warm- up activity: a fun, engaging activity to grab attention.
2. Pre-reading activities: Introducing new vocabulary or concepts through interactive exercises.
3. Reading the text: Share reading material with the students virtually or by providing a digital copy. Encouraging students to read aloud or follow along as we read together.
4. Comprehension activities: Engage students in discussions or interactive exercises to check their understanding of the text/material learned.
5. Wrap-up: Summarize key points of the lesson and encourage students to ask questions or share their thoughts and feelings about the reading.
Flexibility is very important when it comes to teaching online so the lesson plan may change based on the needs and interests of the student.
