About Sara
I’m a senior pursuing an English major with a creative writing concentration at Fordham University with a strong background in writing, literature, and editorial work. I currently serve as the Managing Editor of The Comma and Assistant Editor on FLASH Magazine. Additionally, I serve as a TA for a ground-floor business class, specifically with a focus on writing skills.
Writing can feel overwhelming for everyone, but I know that with increased exposure, comfortability builds confidence. Everyone knows the frustration of knowing what they want to say but being unable to find the structure and words to express it; I want to help students be able to articulate their sentiment consistently, no matter the type of writing.
I'm incredibly approachable, personable, and grateful, and would love to help with any English support!

My English background has given me the ability to assist with a variety of needs, including English assignments, essay reviews, and personal literary goals.
Writing has so many elements, from thesis development to organization and structure, to grammar, syntax, and creativity. I love helping others work through towards their specific objectives, and being able to break down difficult concepts into more digestible tools.
The most valuable asset anyone has is their voice, and I want to maintain the importance of that in every student's writing. I am here as a collaborative resource and aim to leave those I work with feeling more confident in their writing abilities after lessons.
