About Abida

I am an experienced Islamic Studies teacher with over eight years of teaching experience, working with students aged 3 to 16 across different levels as they progress through their learning journey. I have taught in three different mosques, where I helped students develop their Qur’an reading skills with correct pronunciation and confident recitation, as well as building their Islamic knowledge in a clear and engaging way. I am passionate about creating a patient, supportive, and structured learning environment that allows each student to grow at their own pace, strengthen their understanding of Islam, and build a strong connection with the Qur’an.

About the lesson

I will be teaching students how to read the Holy Qur’an correctly with proper pronunciation (Tajweed) and confidence. My lessons focus on helping learners recite Arabic letters accurately, recognise words in the Qur’an, and improve their fluency in reading with correct rules of recitation. I aim to guide students step by step, starting from the basics of Qur’anic reading and gradually building their skills through practice and repetition. With over eight years of experience in Islamic Studies teaching, I provide patient, supportive, and structured lessons to help every student improve their recitation and connect more deeply with the Qur’an.
