About Jie Ern

I am a first class law graduate from Durham University, and I achieved an overall distinction in Bar Vocational Studies (96 for Civil Litigation, 94 for Advocacy Submissions; I received 2 book prizes from Lincoln's Inn for academic excellence on the bar course). However, above all, I was once a student like you who faced the same challenges. I struggled when I first started studying law, and thought I would fail many times along the way. I am sure many feel that way as well, and would like to be a friend who guides you along the way. Law can be a dry subject at times, but my goal is for students to enjoy the study of law and feel excited about the intellectual challenge it poses.

About the lesson

Meeting you where you are: Personalised teaching allows me to meet you at your current level, and teach at a pace that allows you to truly absorb and understand the material at hand. The teaching methodology will be customised according to the individual student's needs and learning styles. The only goal is for you to feel confident in the area of law. My lessons are suitable for: A Levels, Undergraduate LLB, Bar Vocational Studies students Length of a lesson: 1 hour each, but can be customised according to individual needs.

Excellent! I really appreciate how the tutor takes the time to focus on the areas where I’m lacking and ensures I fully understand before moving on to the next topic. They don’t just rush through the material — instead, they pause to explain things clearly and check that I’ve grasped the concept. This approach has really helped me build a stronger foundation and feel more confident in what I’m learning.

Perfect! The provisions rendered by Jen are not merely satisfactory; they surpass all conceivable expectations. Indeed, the extent of her offerings may be described as nothing short of providential, rendering the notion of divine intervention an understatement. With the comprehensive support, assistance, accommodations, help and resources one anticipates she provides, one finds oneself in a position where further search becomes wholly unnecessary. These sentiments are factual, indisputable truths.
