About Fiona

I am a Financial Manager with over 20 years of experience in finance, governance and legal compliance. I hold a BCom Honours degree and an LLB, and I am currently completing my LLM.

My academic and professional experience has taught me that understanding a concept is far more valuable than simply memorising it. Once the principles make sense, applying them becomes much easier.

I hope to help students develop that same understanding — to enjoy what they are studying, build confidence in applying what they learn, and ultimately turn that understanding into strong academic results.

About the lesson

My methodology is based on leveraging AI to help students in the same way that it assisted me. When I was studying for my LLB, I found a system that worked for me, helped me ace my assignments, tests and exams, and that's the same method I teach students. This helped me achieve outstanding results, sometimes as high as 97% for my semester grades. My tutoring is aimed at first - third year LLB students. I tutor only in English.
