About Shiven
Super friendly, easy going and laterally thinking is how I would describe myself. I once was a student too, I know all too well the feeling of overwhelm that we experience when learning new legal concepts and trying to figure out where it all fits into the grander scheme of things. Keeping it simple and with real world application is always what's best, knowing something and applying something are very different and the application is really where you solidify what you have learnt.

Shiven Bodasing is a newly admitted attorney with approximately eight years of pre-admission practical experience in criminal law, criminal investigation, law enforcement and prosecution. His professional background is distinguished by substantial experience on the investigative and enforcement side of the criminal justice system, having worked extensively in criminal investigations, evidence gathering, crime scene assessment, warrant applications, docket preparation, witness preparation and engagement with law enforcement and prosecuting authorities.
Prior to entering private practice, Shiven held senior investigative and enforcement positions within the SPCA movement, including within the Special Investigations Unit of the National Council of SPCAs. This experience has provided him with a practical understanding of criminal matters from investigation through to prosecution and sentencing, and informs his approach to litigation, evidence and strategic case preparation.
