About Deepa
Hi, I'm Deepa, an MSc Financial Data Science graduate and finance professional based in Dublin. I use mathematics every day in my career and enjoy helping others build confidence in the subject through clear, personalised teaching.
I started tutoring because I believe every student deserves access to patient, high-quality support, regardless of their starting point. Seeing someone go from finding maths intimidating to solving problems confidently is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
I welcome students of all ages and abilities, from primary school to university and adult learners. Whether you're preparing for exams, improving your grades, or building stronger mathematical foundations, I'd love to help you achieve your goals.

Every lesson begins by identifying your strengths, areas for improvement, and learning goals. I then create a personalised lesson plan that matches your pace and focuses on the topics that will have the biggest impact.
Rather than memorising formulas, we'll focus on understanding the reasoning behind each concept. I explain topics step by step, use worked examples, and gradually increase the difficulty to build confidence and problem-solving skills.
Lessons are interactive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, practise together, and receive constructive feedback. Whether you need support with homework, exam preparation, or mastering a difficult topic, my aim is to help you become a confident and independent learner.
