About Pui Shi
I am a final year medical student who is passionate in sharing my knowledge and experience to all the adik adik out there who struggle in biology or who is clueless about what is next after SPM/IGCSE. A little bit of my educational background, I finished my SPM in a SMK (I learned all my biology, physics and chemistry in MALAY!), then did my A-levels at Alice Smith School under a full scholarship. Then, I had chosen to start my medical journey at International Medical University. I will be graduating in Aug 2026, so I wish to utilize the remaining time to inspire people before going for my housemanship. Academic achievement: SPM 9A+, A-level 3A* Currently under JPA sponsorship for my medical degree. I had an experience in giving one-to-one tutoring for a Form 4 student who struggled in her mathematics. At last, I witnessed a big milestone achieved by our collaborative effort where she finally obtained A- in her SPM (from not even passing at the beginning!) I believe everyone just needs a simple inspiration to do better in certain field, rather than the conventional passive learning, scolding and pressure.

I see myself more as a peer tutor than a traditional teacher—someone who shares knowledge and learning strategies rather than simply delivering lessons. I believe deeply in the value of passionate, curiosity-driven learning rather than an exam-oriented approach. My primary goal is to spark your interest in the fascinating world of biology and medicine so that studying becomes an enjoyable and meaningful experience rather than a burden. To achieve this, I strive to connect concepts to real-life applications and practical examples, helping you see how the knowledge we learn truly comes alive in the world around us.
The length of each tutoring session can be from 1 to 2 hours. It can be anyone in secondary school or pre-university programme studying biology, or anyone who is interested to enter medical school.
