About Calla
I am a Mathematics tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and a BA in Mathematics. My main areas of focus are topology and knot theory, where I explore the beauty of shapes, spaces, and continuous transformations. I love showing how these abstract ideas appear in surprising places, from molecular structures in chemistry to tangled loops in everyday life. In my lessons, I use visual aids, sketches, and interactive tools to make abstract ideas tangible and engaging. I believe mathematics becomes more meaningful when students can see and feel the patterns behind it. My approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and logical precision, helping learners develop both intuition and analytical depth.
