About Jason
Hi, my name is Jason, I graduated from Carleton University with a Double BSc in Math/Physics. While at university, I earned top grades in all of my classes. I teach all of High School, College, and University (up to and including 2nd year Math and Physics courses). I also specialize in: AP and IB courses, as well as standardized testing: AP, SAT, LSAT. Students should take lessons with me because my approach to learning is about emphasizing the concepts! I make sure that there is a verbal dialogue between me and the student, where they ask me questions and I ask them questions. A typical lesson plan consists of me giving them problems to work on, that are tailored to areas that the student is having difficulty with. That way we can work to improve and close the gaps. Details
My rates vary by grade and difficulty. For general High School courses, I charge $40/hr. For AP, IB, College courses, I charge $45/hour. And University courses, I charge $50/hour.
