About Lea

All throughout high school I loved Maths. I obtained 87% for maths at an IGCSE level (grade 11) and is the highest grade I am willing to teach.

My love for maths got me interested in Finance, which I am currently studying and my second major being in Economics. Maths has always come easy to me and I was able to help my friends as well as my sister. I therefore would love to teach some students and help them with minor issues that could help with the way they see certain topics.

About the lesson

Seeing that I have a great love for maths, I am able to create real world examples and engaging teaching methods. I offer personalised notes for each lesson for my students to keep. Based on the first lesson where I am able to assess my student, I can build lessons on where the problem areas are. So, there is a focus on conceptual understanding followed with support. I believe that everyone can get their maths grade up, the minute we identify the root of the issue!

I have a flexible schedule as I am a Finance student in my final year.

Lea is a fantastic tutor! She has a passion for teaching and her ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner enable her to effectively teach her students the intricacies of language as well as Mathematics. Additionally, Lea is patient and understanding, which are important qualities for a tutor to have, as they allow her to work with students at their own pace and provide them with the support they need to succeed. Her dedication and enthusiasm for tutoring are an asset, as it helps to keep her students motivated and engaged. Overall, Lea's combination of knowledge, skills, and her open and happy personality would make her an excellent tutor for you.
