About Giada

Hi! I’m Giada, an experienced tutor with over six years of teaching and mentoring in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. I hold a BSc in Electronics & Computer Science from the University of Edinburgh, a BSc in Psychology from the University of Essex, and I am currently completing a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London.

Over the years, I have taught more than 40 students across GCSE, National 5, Advanced Highers, A Levels, and IB, with many achieving A* results in Chemistry and going on to study at prestigious universities including Imperial College London, University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, Bocconi, and IE.

About the lesson

My Chemistry lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I specialise in:
- Explaining core principles (atomic structure, bonding, organic chemistry, kinetics, thermodynamics, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox reactions, etc.)
- Strengthening problem-solving skills and applying theory to exam-style questions
- Teaching exam techniques that help secure top marks
- Providing revision strategies to ensure long-term retention and exam readiness

Lessons combine thorough explanations with practice questions, past papers, and detailed feedback to help students gain both understanding and confidence.

Results
Many of my students have improved significantly, moving from predicted Cs and Bs to A and A* at A Level, and have successfully pursued STEM degrees at top universities.
