About Kumar
I'm an experienced Business and Mathematics teacher and a dedicated educator with a passion for helping students succeed both academically and beyond the classroom. With over 2 years of teaching experience in sixth-form education and 4.5 years of real-world industry experience in global marketing roles, I bring a unique blend of academic insight and practical knowledge to every lesson. Currently, I teach Business and Mathematics at Preston Manor Sixth Form in London, where I design engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum and tailored to diverse learning styles. In Summer 2023, I had the opportunity to teach Media and Marketing at Somerville College, University of Oxford, where I independently created and delivered a comprehensive curriculum—earning a student satisfaction score of 4.5/5. I hold an MBA and MSc in Management, and my background spans industries including healthcare, technology, and media. This professional experience allows me to offer students not just theoretical understanding, but also real-world context—especially valuable for those pursuing business, economics, or marketing-related studies. My goal is always to create a positive, supportive, and intellectually stimulating environment where students feel confident, motivated, and equipped to achieve their academic goals.
