About Alice
I am a dedicated Biology tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, supporting students across Secondary, O-Level, IP, IB, JC/A-Level, and first-year university levels. Over the years, I have worked with learners of diverse abilities, helping them strengthen their understanding, improve exam performance, and build lasting confidence in Biology.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, structure, and engagement. I specialize in breaking down complex biological concepts into simple, logical steps that are easy to grasp. My Biology lessons are designed to make complex ideas simple, structured, and easy to understand. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations so students can confidently apply knowledge across Secondary, O-Level, IP, IB, JC/A-Level, and first-year university syllabi. Each lesson is tailored to the learner’s pace, strengths, and goals, ensuring that difficult topics such as genetics, cellular processes, physiology, and ecology become clear and approachable.
I use a combination of clear explanations, visual aids, real-life examples, and guided questioning to strengthen understanding rather than memorization. Students are encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and actively engage with the material. Exam techniques are also a key part of my teaching, including how to interpret questions, structure answers, and avoid common mistakes.
