About Catherine
Hi, I'm Catherine! I'm an E-RYT 200 yoga teacher and wellness educator with more than 12 years of teaching experience and over 1,500 teaching hours. My journey with yoga began in 2009 as a way to find greater balance and resilience during the demands of corporate life. What started as a personal practice quickly became a lifelong passion for movement, breath, and whole-person well-being.
Today I teach a variety of styles including Hatha, Flow, Yin, Restorative, mobility-focused yoga, and breathwork. I enjoy working with beginners who are just starting their yoga journey, as well as experienced practitioners, athletes, and climbers looking to improve mobility, strength, and body awareness.
My classes emphasize functional movement, mindful strength, proper alignment, and nervous system regulation rather than striving for the "perfect" pose. My goal is to help every student feel stronger, move with greater ease, and develop a sustainable practice that supports everyday life. Whether your goal is stress relief, increased flexibility, improved mobility, or building confidence on the mat, I'll meet you where you are and help you progress safely at your own pace.

Catherine believes yoga should be purposeful, sustainable, and adapted to the individual. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, whether you're looking to improve mobility, build strength, reduce stress, increase flexibility, or simply feel more comfortable in your body. Sessions combine mindful movement, functional alignment, breathwork, and relaxation to create a balanced and supportive practice.
A typical lesson begins with breath awareness and gentle mobility, progresses through strength and movement patterns suited to your experience level, and finishes with stretching and guided relaxation.
Catherine teaches beginners through experienced practitioners, including athletes, climbers, busy professionals, and anyone seeking a personalized approach to movement and wellbeing. With over 1,500 teaching hours and 12 years of experience, she creates welcoming, encouraging classes that help students build confidence while moving safely and with intention.
