About Dae jong
Hi, I'm DJ — a yoga teacher, runner, and movement guide based in New York City, with over 408K followers on Instagram.
I began my yoga journey in my 40s, overcoming physical limitations and personal challenges. Through consistent practice, I rebuilt strength, healed pain, and transformed my life. Alongside yoga, I’ve been a dedicated Vipassana meditation practitioner for over 20 years, which brings deep mindfulness and clarity into everything I teach. This lifelong practice helps me guide not only movement, but also breath, presence, and emotional balance.
"Yoga with DJ" is about more than just poses — it’s a way to build strength, resilience, and self-trust. My classes are warm, intentional, and accessible to all levels, whether you're new to yoga or deep into your practice. Together, we work on flexibility, strength, and inner awareness.
