About Emalia
I’m a NYC Yogi 🧘🏼♀️ RYT200 from Y7 Studio 🔥
My background is in dance and ice skating. I discovered Yoga at a young age, thanks to my aunt who became a yogi after her career in ballet. She wanted to encourage more body-positive movement.
My classes focus on the Chakras and are themed around opening the chakras by way of movement and the breath. The sequences have a dance-like fluidity that is gentle yet engaging, and allows the body to flow naturally.
Whether you’ve been practicing for 50 years or it’s your very first time on the mat, all levels and abilities are welcome! All that I require is an open mind and kindness for yourself and others.
My hope for students is that their practice is sustainable, safe, enjoyful, and life-long.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and hearing about your yoga journey!
