About Emily
I offer "traditional" style (on a mat) hatha yoga that emphasizes breath, relaxation, balance, flexibility and strength and Chair Yoga that allows almost anyone to participate and still offers the same benefits as mat yoga. I also enjoy hosting "Yoga Parties" - a refreshing and unique alternative to tradtional celabrations for you and your friends - a birthday bash, a bridal gig or just a fun girls night out with wine, cheese and chocolate - I can tailor a yoga party for your event with your guests and theme in mind.
I have been practicing Yoga for over thirty years. I received my certification through Bhumi's Yoga & Wellness Center, a nationaly recognized school of Yoga in 1997. I am also a certified Chair Yoga instructor after an accident blessed me with a rod from my knee to my hip and lots of metal! I continually expand my knowledge and offereings of yoga, natural health and wellness and many other holistic practices by attending seminars/workshops throught the country.
I love to help others learn through yoga that they can enjoy health and wellness as well as learn how to let things "go"!
